Spotlight è il miglior film per i critici di New York, Los Angeles e Boston

La stagione dei premi entra sempre più nel vivo, sono stati assegnati ieri i Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards (critici di L.A.), i Boston Society of Film Critics Awards (critici di Boston), e i New York Film Critics Online Awards (critici di NY).

A calare una bella tripletta è Spotlight, eletto come miglior film dell'anno da tutte e tre le associazioni.
Diversi premi per il film di Tom McCarthy, che solo a New York si porta a casa miglior film, regia, sceneggiatura e cast.

Spotlight vince anche a Los Angeles ma è Mad Max: Fury Road a portarsi a casa il maggior numero di premi, tre in tutto (regia, fotografia, scenografia).

A Boston si riconfermano come migliori attori non protagonisti Mark Rylance (Il Ponte delle Spie) e Kristen Stewart (Clouds of Sils Maria). Come migliore attrice protagonista è stata premiata Charlotte Rampling per 45 Years (premiata anche a Los Angeles), mentre nella categoria attori protagonisti c'è stato un pari, tra Paul Dano (Love&Mercy) e Leonardo DiCaprio (The Revenant).

Parità fra Inside Out e Anomalisa come miglior film d'animazione. Anomalisa vince a Los Angeles, Inside Out a New York, Boston li premia entrambi.

In ottica Oscar questi riconoscimenti sono moderatamente indicativi, ma possono cominciare a delineare il quadro generale delle possibili nomination, con Spotlight che entra di diritto tra i favoriti per qualche premio importante, così come Mad Max: Fury Road, che potrebbe prendersi qualche soddisfazione, soprattutto per i premi più tecnici.
