Rivelate poco fa le nomination ai
Golden Globe 2018. Più o meno sono stati rispettati tutti i pronostici, sia per il Cinema che per la Tv.
C'è un po' d'Italia. Luca Guadagnino con il suo
Chiamami col Tuo Nome si è guadagnato una nomination per il miglio film drama, andando ad affiancare i maggiori titoli della stagione,
The Post di Spielberg,
Dunkirk di Nolan,
The Shape of Water di Del Toro e
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri di McDonagh.
Tra le commedie spicca
Get Out, soprattutto perché è un horror che si è dovuto trasferire tra le commedie per trovare spazio ed ottenere una nomination, ma la sfida è aperta con
I, Tonya,
Lady Bird, il musical
The Greatest Showman, e
The Disaster Artist di James Franco.
La cinquina dei registi nominati è quasi la stessa, con
Ridley Scott (
Tutti i Soldi del Mondo) al posto di Guadagnino. Scott che, ricordiamo, ha dovuto compiere un mezzo miracolo rigirando e sostituendo tutte le scene di Kevin Spacey (tagliato dal film) con
Christopher Plummer, e l'attore si è anche guadagnato una nomination come migliore attore non protagonista. Il film ha ottenuto anche la nomination per la migliore attrice drama (
Michelle Williams).
Interessanti le cinquine degli attori. Se in quella delle migliori attrici comedy/musical la sfida sembra tra
Margot Robbie (
I, Tonya) e
Saoirse Ronan (
Lady Bird), nella sezione drama c'è più battaglia, anche se la favorita resta (come sempre)
Meryl Streep per
The Post. Da sottolineare la nomination nella cinquina comedy a
Helen Mirren per il film
The Leisure Seeker di Virzì.
Per gli uomini, al momento non sembra esserci un vero favorito nella sezione comedy, con
James Franco che potrebbe portarsi a casa un premio per il suo apprezzato
The Disaster Artist, mentre nella cinquina drama è curiosa la sfida tra quattro colonne del Cinema come
Daniel Day-Lewis (
Il Filo Nascosto),
Denzel Washington (
Roman J. Israel, Esq.),
Tom Hanks (
The Post),
Gary Oldman (
L'Ora Più Buia), e il giovane
Timothée Chalamet (
Chiamami col tuo Nome). Oldman comunque sembra il favorito.
Tra i film d'animazione,
Coco della Pixar è il favorito. Niente Italia tra i film stranieri.
Per la tv, tante nomination per
Big Little Lies (praticamente tutto il cast), bene anche
The Handmaid's Tale,
Fargo e
Stranger Things.
Jude Law si è meritato una nomination come migliore attore in una minisere/film tv per
The Young Pope di Sorrentino. Solo una nomination per
Twin Peaks, quella come migliore attore di miniserie/film tv per
Kyle MacLachlan.
La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà il 7 gennaio.
