PGA Award 2022 - le nomination

Annunciate le nomination ai PGA Award 2022, i premi del sindacato dei produttori cinematografici e televisivi, uno dei più rilevanti in chiave Academy Awards, molto spesso infatti il film vincitore del PGA si ripete poi anche nella notte degli Oscar.

Nella rosa dei dieci candidati come miglior film ci sono tutti i titoli più forti della stagione, a cui si è aggiunto, in modo inatteso, il bel film di Aaron Sorkin Being the Ricardos.

Sono rimasti fuori invece, alcuni titoli molto chiacchierati e "spinti" dalla stampa, come House of Gucci, altri acclamati dalla critica, come The Tragedy of Macbeth, Nightmare Alley, e The Lost Daughter, e anche il più grande incasso della stagione, cioè Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Nei cinque candidati per il miglior film d'animazione, ben tre sono firmati dalla Disney, uno di questi, Luca dell'italiano Enrico Casarosa, in collaborazione con la Pixar.

Rita Moreno riceverà lo Stanley Kramer Award, mentre George Lucas e Kathleen Kennedy saranno premiati con il Milestone Award.

La premiazione si terrà il 19 marzo, poco prima degli Oscar. Ecco tutte le nomination di Cinema e TV.

Golden Globes 2022 - Il Potere del Cane e Belfast guidano le nomination

Sono state annunciate poco fa le nomination ai Golden Globes 2022, la cui cerimonia - lo ricordiamo - non sarà trasmessa in tv, la NBC infatti si è tirata indietro dopo la polemica per la poca diversità nella Hollywood Foreign Press Association. La cerimonia comunque si terrà il 9 gennaio.

Diciamolo subito, Paolo Sorrentino c'è. È Stata la Mano di Dio è nella cinquina del miglior film straniero. Nella stessa categoria, candidato anche Madres Paralelas di Pedro Almodovar.

Sette nomination per The Power of the Dog di Jane Campion, e per Belfast di Kenneth Branagh. Cinque candidature per il West Side Story di Steven Spielberg, mentre sono quattro le nomination per la commedia Don't Look Up, che vede candidati anche i due protagonisti, Leonardo DiCaprio e Jennifer Lawrence, e Licorice Pizza di Paul Thomas Anderson.

Primo film da regista e prima nomination per la migliore regia per Maggie Gyllenhaal e il suo The Lost Daughter.

Nelle cinquine delle categorie attori/attrici, ci sono tutti i nomi che ci si aspettava. Colpo di coda di Nicole Kidman e Javier Bardem, nominati per Being the Ricardos, uscito proprio pochi giorni fa. C'è Emma Stone per Cruella nella categoria Comedy/Musical, stessa categoria della giovane protagonista di West Side Story, Rachel Zegler. C'è anche Kristen Stewart (Spencer) nella cinquina delle migliori attrici Drama dove, onestamente, sorprende la presenza di Lady Gaga, perché il film è stato stroncato dalla critica di tutto il mondo e perché non si tratta di una performance molto "drama".

In generale, c'è molto musical in questa edizione, con West Side Story, Tick, Tick... Boom!, Cyrano, In the Heights, Annette.

Per la TV, ci sono tutti i maggiori titoli della stagione, Succession, Ted Lasso, Omicidio a Easttown, Scene da un Matrimonio, e anche la serie coreana Squid Game. Si ritaglia il suo spazio anche Only Murders in the Buildings, che riporta tra i nominati Steve Martin e Martin Short.
