BAFTA Television Awards: le nomination

Sono state annunciate le nomination ai BAFTA Tv, equivalente inglese degli Emmy americani, che premiano il meglio del meglio della televisione britannica. Tantissimi i volti noti anche al grande schermo, come Ben Wishaw e Sean Bean, candidati entrambi tra i migliori attori, o Imelda Stauton tra le interpreti femminili. 

Parade's End, dramma in costume di successo della BBC si aggiudica ben 7 nomination, ma svettano anche The Hollow Crown (riproposizione delle tragedie di Shekespeare dedicate alla corona britannica), The Girl e Ripper Street, novità della stagione, e The Hour che, nonostante il mancato rinnovo dopo la seconda stagione, accoglie ancora i favori della critica.

Per quanto riguarda le serie straniere, le americane Game of Thrones e Homeland dominano senza troppe sorprese, ma si inserisce inaspettatamente anche Girls a confermare il primato della HBO.

Grandi assenti, invece, Downton Abbey e Doctor Who che fin ora non erano mai mancati tra i nominati.

I premi saranno consegnati il 12 Maggio 2013, al Royal Festival Hall e si potranno vedere in diretta sulla BBC.

Bafta 2013: i vincitori

Assegnati ieri sera in una piovosa Londra i BAFTA Awards 2013, gli Oscar britannici. Qualche sorpresa ma una certezza: Ben Affleck e il suo 'Argo'.

E' ancora lui a trionfare, Ben Affleck si porta di nuovo a casa i premi più importanti, miglior film e migliore regia. Ha vinto praticamente tutto quello che poteva vincere fino ad ora, resta sempre più un mistero la sua mancata nomination all'Oscar per la regia.

Daniel Day Lewis riceve l'ennesimo premio come migliore attore per il suo 'Lincoln', così come Anne Hathaway vince ancora come migliore attrice non protagonista per 'Les Misérables'. Se la vittoria di Christoph Waltz, come migliore attore non protagonista, per 'Django Unchained' è solo una mezza sorpresa, è il premio come migliore attrice protagonista a Emmanuelle Riva ('Amour') a spiazzare un po' tutti.
Miglior film inglese, ovviamente, 'Skyfall', e migliore sceneggiatura originale a Quentin Tarantino per 'Django Unchained'. Miglior film d'animazione 'Brave' della Pixar. Ma alla fine è il musical 'Les Misérables' a portarsi a casa il maggior numero di premi, 4 in tutto, scenografia, trucco, suono e migliore attrice non protagonista.

BAFTA 2013 - Tutte le Nomination

Sono stata annunciate questa mattina le Nomination per i BAFTA 2013, noti anche come 'gli Oscar Inglesi'.

Il film con più nominato è Lincoln (10 Nomination), seguito da Vita di Pi e Les Miserables (9 Nomination).
Stupisce poi l'assenza di Steve Spielberg (Lincoln) e Tom Hopper (Les Miserables) nella lista dei migliori registi.
