Così come sorprende l'assenza della Stewart, al contrario sorprende la presenza di Jennifer Hudson (Respect).
Altra sorpresa, in negativo (almeno per noi di Frame), è l'eccessiva presenza di House of Gucci, stroncato dalla critica soprattutto per le performance macchiettistiche del cast, continua ad ottenere nomination. Lady Gaga è stata nominata come migliore attrice, Jared Leto come migliore attore non protagonista, e addirittura il film come miglior cast d'insieme, cioè l'equivalente di miglior film, e questo è sicuramente la nomination che lascia più perplessi in assoluto.
