Stasera saranno annunciati i vincitori dei Golden Globe, in una "non cerimonia" senza diretta tv, intanto continuano i premi della critica.
Drive My Car, film del giapponese Ryusuke Hamaguchi, ha vinto il premio come miglior film ai National Society of Film Critics Award, assegnati dalla NSFC, associazione dei critici statunitensi. Il film si è postato a casa anche il premio per il migliore attore, a Hidetoshi Nishijima, regista, e migliore sceneggiatura (già premiata all'ultimo Festival di Cannes).
Penelope Cruz (Madres Paralelas) è stata premiata come migliore attrice, mentre Ruth Negga (Passing) e Anders Danielsen Lie (The Worst Person in the World) sono stati premiati come non protagonisti.
