BAFTA Television Awards: le nomination




Sono state annunciate le nomination ai BAFTA Tv, equivalente inglese degli Emmy americani, che premiano il meglio del meglio della televisione britannica. Tantissimi i volti noti anche al grande schermo, come Ben Wishaw e Sean Bean, candidati entrambi tra i migliori attori, o Imelda Stauton tra le interpreti femminili. 
Parade's End, dramma in costume di successo della BBC si aggiudica ben 7 nomination, ma svettano anche The Hollow Crown (riproposizione delle tragedie di Shekespeare dedicate alla corona britannica), The Girl e Ripper Street, novità della stagione, e The Hour che, nonostante il mancato rinnovo dopo la seconda stagione, accoglie ancora i favori della critica.
Per quanto riguarda le serie straniere, le americane Game of Thrones e Homeland dominano senza troppe sorprese, ma si inserisce inaspettatamente anche Girls a confermare il primato della HBO.
Grandi assenti, invece, Downton Abbey e Doctor Who che fin ora non erano mai mancati tra i nominati.
I premi saranno consegnati il 12 Maggio 2013, al Royal Festival Hall e si potranno vedere in diretta sulla BBC.
